Kent Nerd Party 2026

I’ll be returning to Kent Nerd Party!
Last year I had a tent on Meeker Street, played sets every hour, and hosted anyone else who wanted to share the stage.

Tickets are free, but please consider making a donation to support Kent Nerd Party and help keep it sustainable.

This year might look a little different—I’ll update this post when I learn more. It was a lot of fun last year, and I know it will be again! Some amazing authors from sci-fi, fantasy, and tabletop roleplaying games were there, along with dozens of nerdy vendors and some other cool performers.

Halloween Freaks at the Beach Market 2026

Ocean Shores Convention Center, Ocean Shores, WA

I'm returning in October for the ?th time this 2 day event full of weird and wonderful people and stuff. I'll be in the corner next to the giant inflatable Halloween sign, as always, and ready to play for you every hour!

I'll also have a table set up where you can check out my D&D books, CDs, dice, and other cool merch, and chat with me about all things nerdy.

While you're there you can get your pre-holiday shopping done, and that does include the spooky holidays.

From Urban Unglued Halloween market

We recently had the opportunity of having Cool Mark Nerd perform at our Halloween Market.  Mark's quirky and fun personality definitely showed up in his music, and how he drew shoppers in to participate was genius.   We had shoppers and vendors alike coming to us and asking for us to have him perform again at future events.   (Which we plan on doing)
